Board Member and Officer Openings:
Without a Trail Committee person, the York Hiking Club cannot meet its bylaw requirements of maintaining portions of the Appalachian Trail and the Mason-Dixon Trail. The York Hiking
Club will have to relinquish its section of the Appalachian
Trail. This can be discussed after the presentation this Friday at the York Township Recreational Building.
Other board positions are the Secretary (officer role), Activities Committee, and Director at Large. The club needs club members to volunteer to help manage the York Hiking Club mission to create, promote, and encourage outdoor recreation, with emphasis on hiking. Please contact Alan Noble at 717-758-8470 or by email at
, if you would like to volunteer for any of the club roles.
