Sunday, June 8: Short hike 3-4 miles, Wilson Meadows Nature Preserve
Come out and explore this newer, cutest little Lancaster Nature Conservancy Preserve along the mighty Susquehanna River! We'll start at Wrightsville Park then walk along Mason-Dixon trail. There is a short section along road, small uphill climb, then enter this beautiful preserve hearing birds, seeing plants and flowers, great views of neighboring park Highpoint Vista. If lucky we may see an eagle flying by! There is a circular trail and small connecting trails to see then we'll stop for a picnic at top- picnic table there! This a hidden gem you'll be glad you took time to see! Bring lunch, water, snacks and any to share, wear good hiking shoes and hat for sun, poles if desired.
Hike leader: Janine Zell call home 717-684-7891 before 8pm please or cell call/text 717-406-6544
Meet: 10am at Wrightsville Playground Park off Front

Saturday, June 14: Medium hike 6-to-7-miles from John Rudy County Park to Loucks Road.
This is a shuttle hike and we would meet at John Rudy County Park and continue to car pool to Loucks Mill Road to hike the approximate 6-to-7-mile distance back to John Rudy County Park. Most of the hike is next to the Codorus Creek. An eagle’s nest, an old caboose, the York County Astronomical Society Observatory is on route and we can see where the rail trail begins. This is not a difficult hike and no poles are required. Bring water, a snack, and wear good shoes. We are open to finish the hike with a lunch at a restaurant, if fellow hikers are interested to do so.
Meeting Location: 400 Mundis Race Road, York, PA 17406 - John Rudy County Park

Several ups and downs and one stream crossing. Bring boots, water, snacks and lunch.

Saturday June 28: Turkey Hill Trail. Medium hike: 6 miles. Medium difficulty.
Many of you know this hike already. The first 3 ½ miles is a trail through forest, meadow and wetlands, paralleling the Susquehanna in Lancaster Co., Manor Township. The rest is along the Enola Low Grade Rail Trail. That is the default. Depending on the desires of the group, we can go back the way we came, making it a 7 miler. We can also elect to do a side trail or two. High points include an up close and personal visit to the Turkey Hill windmills, one of the best vistas I
have seen over the river and paw paws all over the place. It is rather vertical in places. Take your usual gear. Sunscreen is advised. There is no good place for a group to have lunch together, so -going out to a local place after is an option for anyone who wants to come.
