Sunday, July 7, Short Hike: 5 miles, Codorus Creek State Park
We will hike 5 miles of the Ranger Trail at Codorus State Park. The trail is moderately difficult with hills. This is a multipurpose trail. Bring hiking boots or trail running shoes. Bring snacks, water, and lunch. We will eat lunch at the day use area before heading back to York. The hike starts at the Main Launch Day Use Area for a loop hike.

Saturday July 13, Medium Hike: 5-6 Miles: Rocky Ridge
5-6 mile hike at Rocky Ridge on the rectangle trails; red (moderate), blue (difficult), white (easy), teal

Saturday July 20, Medium Hike: Col. Denning State Park/ Flat Rock Trail. 6 miles.

Sunday, July 21, Short Hike: Nixon Park
This will be a 3 a mile hike, depending on the temperature, Hey we ant’s as young as we used to be.
We will try to keep it as interesting as possible considering we’ve been many times already.

Sunday, July 28, Short Hike: Trail 5 Lake Redman, 5 miles
From the Sparton Road parking lot, we will walk on the road for a short distance to connect with trail #5 and enjoy a walk around part of Lake Redman, passing through the bird sanctuary toward the end of the hike. This hike has few short, mild climbs along the way. Come out and join us for a stroll through a very pretty area of York County. If the construction on the Log Road Bridge is finished, we’ll be able to complete the loop; if it’s not, we’ll turn back at the road or the construction site, depending on how long it takes to get there. If it is raining, please call ahead to confirm we are still on.
