SATURDAY, JULY 3- FORTH OF JULY CELEBRATION AT JPJ- It is time to start more activities at our JPJ
Cabin. At 10:00 AM we will take a short hike. Or if anyone wants to they can lead a longer hike. At 1 PM a Covered
Dish Dinner is planned. It would be fun to have some yummy red, white and blue and green and whatever color dishes. If you call Sarah about what you want to bring, we will have a more balanced selection. Every one please bring their own plates, cups, and utensils for this event since the kitchen is not organized as yet. Also bring your lawn chairs and we will eat outside in the shade of the walnut trees. We have not been together at the cabin for over a year and so this is a special occasion for that reason also.

SATURDAY, JULY 10 - MEDIUM HIKE (8 MILES): Catoctin State Park Will do loop that includes views at Hog Rock, Thurmont Vista, Wolf and Chimney Rocks with side trip to Cunninham Falls. Depending on the group and weather, can do more mileage by adding on Cat Rock. Bring usual snacks, water, lunch, boots, hiking poles.

Meeting Location: Visitor Center on Rt. 77 For those wishing to car pool, please call me so I can coordinate a meet spot, most likely Woodberry Rd.
