SATURDAY, DECEMBER 13 – MEDIUM HIKE (7-8 MILES): LAKE REDMAN and LAKE WILLIAMS
DESCRIPTION: We will hike some of Lake Redman and Lake Williams on what used to be trails 1, 2 and 4 and are now known as the orange rectangle (pumphouse) trail, the white rectangle (North Shore) trail, and the blue rectangle (South Shore) trail. This hike has a lot of hills that are fairly difficult along with a few moderate areas. Hiking poles would probably be a good idea as there are many leaves and branches down along the trails making them slippery. Also, bring water and snacks and wear sturdy shoes.
Meeting Time and Location: 8:30 AM at the S. George St. parking lot of Lake Williams, immediately across from the Lake Redman dam. Expect to be out for about 3 hours.
Hike Leader: Kathy Yost, 717-818-1390,

DESCRIPTION: This is an out-and-back hike on the Beaver Creek Trail located in the Gifford Pinchot State Park off State Route 177 boat launch area. The trail consists of muddy (if recently rained), rocky, and rolling hills. Recommend hiking boots, hiking poles, water, and a snack. Dress for the weather.
